Most fitness programs tell you where you will end up. Very few tell you what the weeks in between look like. That gap matters after 40, because progress rarely arrives as a straight line on the bathroom scale. Strength, balance, energy and confidence often change first, and if nobody is measuring them, it is easy to believe nothing is working and quit just before the visible results show up.
The 60-Day Transformation program at High Definition Training is built to make those early changes visible. It is a comprehensive starting point for first-time adult clients aged 40 and over, combining training, nutrition guidance and accountability, and the current price is $700 for the full 60 days. Here is what happens, week by week, and exactly what we track.

Why a 60-Day Transformation Program?
The 60-Day Transformation Program is built around a simple idea: sixty days is long enough for real adaptation and short enough to stay focused. In the first weeks, much of your improvement comes from your nervous system learning to move well: better coordination, better technique, and more confidence under load. Measurable strength gains build on that foundation. Many members notice more energy and easier daily tasks within a few weeks; visible body changes commonly take six to twelve weeks. Sixty days gives you a full cycle of learning, building and reviewing, with a clear decision point at the end.
It also lines up with public health advice. The CDC physical activity guidelines for adults recommend muscle-strengthening work at least two days a week for adults, and the four types of exercise (strength, balance, flexibility and endurance) all show up inside the 60-Day Transformation Program.
Before Day 1: The Assessment
Your program starts with a conversation and a movement assessment, not a workout. Here is what the fitness assessment covers:
- Your goals, in your words: climbing stairs without knee pain, keeping up with grandchildren, lifting a suitcase into an overhead bin, feeling strong again
- Your history: previous training, injuries, surgeries, joint concerns, and anything your doctor has told you to watch
- Your week: work, family, sleep, and how many sessions you can realistically commit to
- How you move: how you squat, hinge, push, pull, balance and get up from the floor, plus where mobility is limited
Weeks 1–2: Learning the Foundations
The first two weeks are about owning the basic movement patterns: squat, hinge, push, pull, carry and core control. Loads are deliberately conservative. The aim is clean technique and a routine you can repeat, not exhaustion. (Curious what happens in your first session? We walk through it step by step.)
What we watch: how quickly your technique improves, how your joints respond the day after sessions, and whether the schedule you chose is actually working.
Check-in 1 (around Day 14): a short review of attendance, soreness and recovery, and how sessions feel. We adjust exercise choices or frequency if something is not fitting.
Weeks 3–4: Building the Habit and the Base
By now the movements feel familiar, so we begin to progress them: a little more weight, an extra set, a harder variation, or more control through a full range of motion. Nutrition and daily habits take a bigger role, with simple, sustainable targets rather than strict diets.
Check-in 2 (around Day 30): the first re-test of selected baseline markers. This is often the point where members first see proof of progress in numbers rather than feelings.
Weeks 5–6: Progressing With Purpose
With a month of consistent training behind you, progression becomes more deliberate. We look for steady, sustainable increases and adjust around real life: a stressful work week, a poor night’s sleep, a flare-up in a joint. An adjusted session is still a successful session.
Check-in 3 (around Day 45): a review of habits and recovery, and planning for the final two weeks.
Weeks 7–8: Consolidating and Reviewing
The final stretch is about consolidating what you have built and preparing for what comes next. At around Day 60 we repeat your baseline assessment and sit down together to compare.
Final review (Day 60): before-and-after results across every marker below, what worked, what did not, and a recommendation for your next phase: which format, how many sessions a week, and which goals to target next.
What the 60-Day Transformation Program Tracks Beyond Weight

The scale is one data point. On its own it cannot tell you whether you gained muscle, improved your balance or simply drank more water yesterday. These are the markers we pay attention to, and they are where most non-scale victories show up first:
| Marker | What it shows | Example of progress |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | Loads, reps and control on key lifts | Goblet squat from a light to a moderate dumbbell with better depth |
| Movement quality | Technique and range of motion | Hip hinge without rounding the lower back |
| Mobility | How freely joints move | Reaching overhead without arching the back |
| Balance | Stability and fall-risk indicators | Longer single-leg stand, steadier step-downs |
| Everyday function | Real-life tasks | Getting up from the floor without using hands |
| Energy and recovery | How you feel between sessions | Less afternoon fatigue, less next-day soreness |
| Consistency | Attendance and habit follow-through | Two to three sessions a week, most weeks |
| Body-composition indicators | Changes relevant to your goals | Waist measurement, how clothes fit |
| Confidence | Comfort with training | Starting a session without anxiety |
What You Will Need to Bring
Consistency and honesty. Show up for your scheduled sessions, tell your coach how you are really sleeping and feeling, and do the small between-session actions you agreed to. You do not need to arrive fit. You need to arrive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I lose weight in 60 days?
A: A realistic goal is to lose 6–12 pounds over 60 days, though individual results vary. Some clients may lose more, depending on their starting point, consistency, and nutrition habits.
Q: How many sessions a week do I need?
A: Most members do well with two to three coached sessions per week, plus the daily habits agreed in your plan.
Q: What if I miss a week?
A: Life happens. Your coach will adjust the plan and help you restart without trying to “make up” every missed session at once.
Q: What happens after Day 60?
A: You will review your results with Coach Angel and decide on the next phase together, with no pressure. Many members continue with small group training at $279 per month. Semi-private training (from $440), one-on-one training (from $600), hybrid or online coaching (from $300) and nutrition coaching ($300) are also available. All prices are subject to change.
Q: Is the 60-Day Transformation a contract?
A: It is a 60-day commitment. No refunds or cancellations are available once the program begins. After the program, all other HDT programs are month-to-month, with 30 days’ advance notice required to cancel.
